Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Sodham (sodham.com), operated from Kathmandu, Nepal. By accessing or using Sodham, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Sodham is an online marketplace that helps customers discover, book, and pay for one-on-one sessions and services offered by independent experts. Sodham provides the platform and booking tools; experts are independent service providers and not employees or agents of Sodham.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract to use Sodham. By using the platform, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

Customers may book sessions without creating a full account where the platform allows guest checkout, subject to the contact details required to complete a booking.

Experts may create profiles listing their services, pricing, availability, and credentials. Sodham may review profiles before they are published. Approval is at Sodham's discretion. We may suspend, reject, or remove profiles that are incomplete, misleading, or violate these Terms.

If a verified expert updates their profile, Sodham may require re-review before the public profile is visible again.

When you book a session, you enter into a direct service arrangement with the expert for the selected date, time, and service. Sodham facilitates scheduling, payment collection, and communication tools such as Google Meet links where applicable.

You agree to attend sessions on time, provide accurate booking information, and treat experts respectfully. Experts agree to deliver services as described, maintain professional conduct, and honor confirmed bookings except as permitted by our cancellation policies.

Prices are displayed on expert profiles and at checkout in NPR unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed through supported providers including eSewa, Khalti, and Fonepay. By completing payment, you authorize Sodham and its payment partners to charge the listed amount for the selected service.

Sodham may charge platform or processing fees where disclosed at checkout or in expert payout terms. Experts receive payouts according to Sodham's payout schedule and verification requirements.

Cancellation and rescheduling rules may vary by service and will be shown during booking where applicable. Unless otherwise stated or required by law, payments for completed or missed sessions without timely cancellation may be non-refundable.

If a session cannot take place due to technical failure attributable to Sodham or if an expert fails to appear without valid notice, contact [email protected] and we will review the case in good faith.

You agree not to:

• Use Sodham for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
• Harass, abuse, or discriminate against other users
• Circumvent payments or solicit off-platform transactions to avoid fees
• Upload false credentials, impersonate others, or misrepresent services
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems without authorization
• Scrape, copy, or reverse engineer the platform without permission

Sodham and its branding, software, design, and content are owned by Sodham or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Experts retain ownership of their own profile content but grant Sodham a license to display and promote that content on the platform.

Sodham is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific outcomes from expert sessions, or that every expert listing meets your expectations. Experts are solely responsible for the advice and services they provide.

Sodham does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other regulated professional services itself. Content on expert profiles is for informational purposes and does not constitute Sodham's endorsement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sodham and its officers, directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability for any claim relating to Sodham shall not exceed the amount you paid to Sodham for the booking giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the event, or NPR 5,000, whichever is greater, unless a higher limit is required by applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sodham from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your content, your services as an expert, or your violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate access to Sodham at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for other users, or as required by law. You may stop using Sodham at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kathmandu, Nepal, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above indicates the latest version. Material changes may be communicated through the website or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
